Dubai Sports City is the world's first purpose-built sports city. Dubai Sports city will incorporate state-of-the-art sporting venues and academies along with residential and commercial developments.

Dubai Sports City offer a world class venue for sports events and activities at all levels with a residential lifestyle unrivalled in the region and possibly the world.

Dubai Sports City is under construction and is expected to complete by late 2009. Dubai Sports City is inspired by the greatest cities in the world with over 500 million square feet of sporting venues, academies, exceptional hones, cultural activities and retail opportunities. Development will be located along the Emirates Road next to the Dubai Autodrome (MotorCity).

                                   

Dubai Sports City is being developed by a consortium of leading UAE business men in two phases. The first phase, which takes two years to complete, involves construction of all infrastructure, including stadia, a sports-themed mall, world-renowned sports academies and an 18-hole championship golf course. The second phase will involve additional residential, commercial, retail and public facilities and will be completed over a further two year period.

Stadiums
Dubai Sports City will have a stadium complex that is to be the most modern and advanced stadiums in the Middle East, that will be able to facilitate international sports and mega-events. It will have a cricket stadium, an outdoor multipurpose stadium for sports like football and rugby, an indoor multi-purpose stadium for sports like basketball and volleyball, and a dedicated hockey stadium.
  
Sports Academies
Dubai Sports City intends to become a facility for the breeding of champions by housing world-class sports academies that will transform young athletes into global competitors. The academies that will be located in DSC will include the Manchester United Soccer Schools, Butch Harmon School of Golf, David Lloyd (Leisure, Spa, and Tennis Academies), and the International Global Cricket Academy.

Golf Course
Dubai Sport City's golf course will carry the signature of South African golfing superstar Ernie Els for its 18-hole championship golf course that is being designed in association with Nicklaus Design.

Residences
Dubai Sports City will include the Victory Heights Luxury Estates, Clubhouse Residential Towers, and the Hub Residential Area for residential purpose. The Victory Heights Luxury Estates will be a residential golf community that will contain independent luxury villas around the 18-hole championship golf course. High-rise buildings with spectacular views of the surrounding golf course and stadiums will be found in the Clubhouse Residential Towers. The Hub Residential Area will feature mid-rise housing complexes and townhouses set along the banks of a canal.

                                           

Some of the residential buildings in Dubai Sport City will be Shami Tower, Westgate Apartments, Champions Tower, Eden Gardens, The Cube, Amna Tower, Rufi Twins, Tamerat Tower, Olympia Suits, Oasis Tower, and Red Residence.

Dubai Sports City will house the biggest brands, franchises and contemporary icons from the business, hospitality, entertainment, trading, and sports training worlds.
